Board of Directors of the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation Reviews Major Projects and Affirms Sustainability of Impact

The Board of Directors of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Humanitarian Work held its meeting chaired by H.E. Professor Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. He opened the session by extending gratitude and appreciation to the Board of Trustees, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, for its continued support and guidance, which contribute to strengthening institutional governance and enhancing the Foundation’s performance locally and internationally.

During the meeting, the Board reviewed the agenda, which included discussions on major projects and high-impact initiatives, as well as updates on the progress of various programs and the achievements made in alignment with the Foundation’s strategic direction. The Board also addressed planning, monitoring, and evaluation mechanisms aimed at ensuring the achievement of the Foundation’s objectives, inspired by the noble humanitarian mission of the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz — may he rest in peace.

The Board further discussed updates related to the work of the subsidiary committees and reviewed periodic performance reports, in addition to topics concerning investments that support financial sustainability.

The Board commended the efforts of the executive departments led by the CEO, H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Fahd Al Angari, emphasizing the importance of reinforcing structured institutional work grounded in strategic planning that ensures sustainable impact and continues the legacy of generosity established by the late King Abdullah. This, the Board affirmed, reinforces the Foundation’s position as a leading model in the humanitarian sector both locally and globally.
