King Abdullah International Foundation for Humanitarian Activities has signed a community partnership agreement with the Health Endowment Fund to support the “New Day” initiative, which aims to rehabilitate individuals recovering from addiction and empower them psychologically, socially, and professionally, enabling their long-term stability and active reintegration into society.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Foundation by H.E. Mr. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Azzabin, Chief Executive Officer, and on behalf of the Health Endowment Fund by H.E. Dr. Ibrahim bin Sulaiman Al-Haidari, Chief Executive Officer.
The initiative is designed to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation programs within transitional housing facilities. These programs include psychological and behavioral counseling, life skills development, and social support. The initiative also seeks to foster stronger collaboration between public and nonprofit sectors to ensure sustainable recovery and to provide a supportive environment that reduces the risk of relapse.
This agreement aligns with both parties’ shared commitment to advancing sustainable health development goals, promoting inclusive community partnerships, and improving quality of life in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
